Bull Market for Skin Trade at South Africa World Cup

There will be around 400,000 visitors to the Soccer World Cup in South Africa, and most of them will be men. It is predicted that 40,000prostitutes will be available. In addition, back in March, South Africa President Jacob Zuma has asked the United Kingdom to supply a billion extra condoms to South Africa before the upcoming event, and the country ended up receiving 42 million.

Maybe it's time to look at the stock market plays for this event. SSL International plc (SLSLY.PK) (LSE:SSL) is a British-based manufacturer of healthcare products makes the Shieks and Ramses brands, and the Durex brands of condoms. It primarily trades on the London Stock Exchange and is part of the FTSE 250 Index.

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. (CHD) makes the Trojan brands of prophylactics. It has a forward PE ratio of 16 and pays a small yield of 0.8%.

Ansell Limited (ANSLF.PK) makes the Mates brand and Lifestyles brand of condoms. The stock primarily trades on the Australian Stock Exchange.

Author does not own any of the above.
