Worldwide Spam Increases 30% in One Day: Stock Spam

According to an article in InformationWeek, researchers have discovered that worldwide spam increased by 30% IN ONE DAY, all due to a pump and dump stock spam for just one stock. The spammer are using attached pdg files to send their message. [I've been getting a ton of spam with attached pdf's. I thought it was a new way of spreading a virus and someone had found a way to create an executable in an Adobe pdf file.] Sophos, the anti-spam software company, has said that stock spam accounts for 25% of all spam.
